The band’s latest disc, You, You’re A History In Rust, which hit the shelves in February, features vocals by Akron/Family, Deep Dark United‘s Alex Lukashevsky and Great Lake Swimmers‘ Tony Dekker, as well as Do Make Say Think themselves singing on the closing track “In Mind.”

DMST’s next tour kicks off with a pair of appearances July 27-28 at the Hillside Festival in Guelph, O.N., followed by two shows at the Evolve Festival in Antigonish, Nova Scotia August 3 and 5.

The second leg of the tour covers the U.S. and launches in style September 14 at New York’s Lincoln Center. Other stops on the tour include the Starlight Ballroom in Philadelphia (September 16), the 40 Watt Club in Athens, Ga. (September 21), Common Grounds in Gainesville, Fla. (September 25), Chelsea’s in Baton Rouge, La. (September 27), Emo’s Austin in Texas (September 29), Nashville’s Exit/In (October 3) and the Grog Shop in Cleveland (October 5).

Part three of the trek sees the band mainly back in Canada through the end of October, with stops in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria, along with shows in Detroit and Minneapolis.

In November DMST will come back to the States for another round of shows, hitting Portland and Eugene in Oregon and San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego in California, as well as Tucson, Ariz.; Salt Lake City; Denver; Omaha, Neb.; and Chicago.
