Clarkson’s Starstruck

Kelly Clarkson has signed with Starstruck Entertainment for management, according to a July 2nd announcement. CEO Narvel Blackstock, husband and manager of Reba McEntire, will now serve as Clarkson’s personal manager.

Starstruck VP of marketing Trisha McClanahan will also assist in day-to-day operations.

"Kelly is an incredible talent with an unlimited future," Blackstock said. "We are thrilled to be working with her."

The signing follows an eventful few weeks during which the singer fired her manager CEO Jeff Kwatinetz, canceled her summer tour and released My December amid tepid reviews.

McEntire and Clarkson have had a string of collaborations in recent months, singing a duet at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May and recording a CMT Crossroads concert at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium in June.
