Caribou, whose given name is Dan Snaith, will spend the month of September in the U.K. and Europe making stops in Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Italy and France.

The tour launches September 28 at The Casbah in San Diego, and will hit clubs across the U.S. and Canada through early November.

Scheduled stops include the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton, Mass. (October 4), New York’s Bowery Ballroom (October 6), the Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, D.C. (October 9), Common Grounds in Gainesville, Fla. (October 13), Beta Bar in Tallahassee, Fla. (October 16), Club De Ville in Austin (October 19), Plush in Tucson, Ariz. (October 25), Slim’s in San Francisco (October 27), and Richard’s On Richards in Vancouver, B.C. (October 30).

Opening for Caribou on all North American dates is fellow Canadian band Born Ruffians.

Caribou’s upcoming disc, Andorra, is due to drop in August. The first single “Melody Day” will be released in North America on July 10th on CD single and digitally.

The track will be released elsewhere in the world on July 31st as a limited 7″ single and digitally.
