The tour kicks off August 31 at Ninigret Park in Charlestown, R.I., and will keep MacMaster on the road in the U.S. and Canada through April. Stops on the schedule include, the Botanic Gardens Amphitheatre in Denver (September 5), Clowes Memorial Hall in Indianapolis (October 5), the Majestic Theatre in Gettysburgy, Pa. (October 10), the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, O.N. (November 29 and December 1), Whitney Hall in Louisville, K.Y. (January 23), Stephens Auditorium in Ames, Iowa (January 31), Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis (February 5), Chandler Music Hall in Randolph, Vt. (February 26-27), the Knoxville Auditorium & Coliseum in Tennessee (March 7-8), and Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas (April 4-6).

MacMaster released her 10th album, Yours Truly, last October. The disc, which includes both contemporary and traditional songs, features a guest appearance by Michael McDonald on the standard “Danny Boy.”

MacMaster was recently awarded the highest honor given for lifetime achievement in her native country, the Order of Canada, making her one of the youngest recipients in the award’s history.
