Wyoming Fest Canceled

The Pinedale Blues Festival, scheduled for August 18-19 in Pinedale, Wyo., was recently canceled and agents Pollstar talked to were disappointed with how everything went down.

Organizers apparently canceled the event after the fest’s main benefactor died and an unsuccessful scramble to find new backers.

Agents were upset that organizers allegedly knew the fest was in doubt long before telling anyone. A festival representative could not be located at press time. Acts scheduled had included Jonny Lang, Bobby Rush, Roy Rogers & The Delta Rhythm Kings and others.
