Brooks’ Familiar New Job

Marty Brooks has been named GM for Northland AEG. Brooks will manage operations for Hartford, Conn.’s Rentschler Field and Hartford Civic Center as well as the business operations for the American Hockey League’s Hartford Wolf Pack.

Everything old is new again for Brooks, who handled these duties as Senior VP and GM for the Connecticut branch of Madison Square Garden – which ran these three entities before exiting the marketplace earlier this year.

Northland AEG is a joint venture between Northland Investment Corporation and AEG Facilities.

The Wolf Pack, which plays at the Civic Center, is an affiliate of the New York Rangers which are owned by MSG. Northland AEG will handle business operations while MSG is in charge of on-ice decisions.
