First up is a gig at Beatday ’07 at the Charlottenlund Fortress in Copenhagen, Denmark. Other acts on the bill include Jens Unmack, Kashmir, Mew, Oh No Ono and Trentemøller.

Next the band will head to France for a handful of dates, including September 19 at the Cooperative De Mai in Clermont, September 20 a La Maroquinerie in Paris, September 21 at Ubu Club in Rennes and September 22 at Ecran Sonique in St. Lo.

The duo will kick off a run of North American dates October 10 at Southpaw in Brooklyn, N.Y., and then spend the rest of the month hitting clubs in the U.S. and Canada.

Scheduled stops include Bowery Ballroom in New York (October 12), Lee’s Palace in Toronto, O.N. (October 14), The Magic Stick in Detroit (October 16), Chicago’s Empty Bottle (October 19), 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis (October 21), and Broken City in Calgary, A.B. (October 26-27).

No release date has been set for The Raveonettes upcoming disc, but in a recent post on the band’s MySpace page – where demo versions of four new tracks are streaming – guitarist Sune Rose Wagner told fans the band would finish mixing the album in the next week or two.
