The sextet will get things fired up with a run of European dates that includes a number of festival appearances, including the Way Out West Festival in Gothenburg, Sweden (August 10), Pukkelpop in Hasselt, Belgium (August 16), the Get Loaded Festival in London (August 26), Electric Picnic at Stradbally Hall in Ireland (September 2), and Bestival on The Isle of Wight in the U.K. (September 7).

The U.S. leg of the band’s tour kicks off October 13 at Chicago’s Double Door and features nearly a dozen dates scattered around the country, including Neumo’s in Seattle (October 15), Mezzanine in San Francisco (October 19), Echoplex in Los Angeles (October 21), New York’s Bowery Ballroom (October 27), and the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (October 30).In November, the band heads back to Europe for four dates in France and three in Italy.

Tickets for a few of The Go! Team’s U.S. dates go on sale August 3 through Ticketmaster.

Youth, the band’s second full-length release and their first for new label Sub Pop, is due September 10th in the U.K. and September 11 in the States.

The first single, “Grip Like A Vice,” was released in the UK in July, backed by “A Version of Myself,” a cover of Sonic Youth’s “Bull in the Heather” and a remix by Black Affair (ex-Beta Band member Steve Mason’s new electro-pop project).
