The full day tennis and music festival will be held August 25 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. In addition to musical performances, the event will also feature appearances by skate legend Tony Hawk and tennis superstars, including Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, James Blake and Serena Williams, as well as interactive games and free clinics.

Hosting duties will be shared by MTV personalities Daisy Fuentes and Quddus. The musical portion of the festival will be taped by CBS for broadcast on August 26.

Admission to the festival is free, but tickets for the stadium show, which are $10 for general admission promenade seats and $20 for loge seats, are available through Ticketmaster, usopen.org, and the venue box office.

Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day honors the late tennis legend and continues his mission of using tennis as a means to instill the values of humanitarianism, leadership and academic excellence in kids.

A portion of the proceeds from the event benefits the USTA National Junior Tennis League, which was co-founded by Ashe in 1969 “as a way to gain and hold the attention of young people in the inner cities and their poor environments so that we can teach them about matters more important than tennis.”

Previous Kids’ Day events have featured artists like Rihanna, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Ne-Yo, Cheyenne, The Cheetah Girls, Mario, 98 Degrees, Jesse McCartney, Bow Wow and Vanessa Carlton.
