Stoll Recovering From Blood Clot
Fantasma Productions President Jon Stoll is recovering at a Colorado hospital from surgery to remove a blood clot discovered while on vacation in Aspen. He is in stable but serious condition following the August 3rd neurosurgery, according to a company statement.
Executive VP John Valentino and comptroller Kathy Bohan are managing Fantasma in Stoll’s absence. He is expected to remain hospitalized for two to three weeks, followed by further rehabilitation.
In addition to heading Fantasma, Stoll was elected president of the North American Concert Promoters Association at the group’s meeting in February.
"We wish Jon a speedy recovery," Valentino said. "We are committed to running the firm, on an interim basis, in the same way Jon has. We intend to move forward with the prior commitments Jon and I have made, and we will also be thoughtful and opportunistic with regard to future bookings and commitments."
