Rudd’s homecoming trek kicks off October 25 at Albert Hall in Launceston and will see him on the road through the middle of December. Other stops on the 24-city tour include the Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane (October 31 and November 1), the Civic Theatre in Newcastle (November 6), Enmore Theatre in Sydney (November 9), The Forum in Melbourne (November 15), Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide (November 21), Entertainment Center in Townsville (November 30), Moncrieff Thatre in Bundaberg (December 5) and Empire Theatre in Toowoomba (December 10).

Canadian singer/songwriter Jeremy Fisher will join Rudd on all his Australian dates.

Rudd, whose style runs the gamut from folk, rock and reggae, as well as aboriginal music from his beloved outback, has been popular for years on what could be called the “surfer’s circuit” of Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. West Coast, where he’s toured with fellow boarder Jack Johnson.

His latest album, White Moth, coupled with successful European and North American outings, has brought the musician, who can mesmerize an audience with an array of instruments including didgeridoo, Weissenborn slide guitars, stomp boxes, djembes, harmonica, and a bunch of different percussion and drums, to the brink of international stardom.
