Payloaded, which was released in May, took three years to complete. The album blends a variety of sounds from rock to urban beats to symphonic flourishes and features appearances by an army of guest artists, including Flea, John Frusciante, Hybrid, Peter Hook, Thievery Corporation and Fergie.

A highlight of the disc is the song “Woman In The Window,” which features an unreleased vocal track from The Doors recorded by Jim Morrision.

Farrell calls the track the mantra of The Solutionists, the fictional brain trust of artists, musicians, technologists, philanthropists, and fashionistas inspired by their collective dismay in how the world was being led toward dead ends by people with no vision whose story is told in song on Payloaded.

“When you hear it, it sounds as though Jim Morrison were watching us and commenting on the world today,” Farrell said.
