Bowery Goes Terminal

The Bowery Presents is opening a 3,000-capacity venue called Terminal 5 in New York City in October, the company announced April 14th.

The venue, located at 610 West 56th St., is the largest midtown venue to open in more than 10 years, according to a company statement.

The lineup includes The National on October 11th, followed by M.I.A., Justice, The Shins and The Decemberists.

The Bowery Presents manages and operates the Mercury Lounge and the Bowery Ballroom, and is expected to open the Music Hall of Williamsburg September 4th.
