StubHub Receives Message In Bottle

StubHub has released its secondary ticketing market stats for 2007 and the big winner is The Police.

Police tickets sold on StubHub for as high as $10,000 for floor seats at Madison Square Garden (and as low as $9 at the Pepsi Center in Denver).

Somebody bought a suite at MSG for $28,038, StubHub said in a statement.

The top five acts to be sold through StubHub are The Police (average resale ticket price $207), Justin Timberlake ($181), Kenny Chesney ($162), Jimmy Buffett ($131), and Dave Matthews Band ($135).
