Honda Center GM Dies

Honda Center GM Mike O’Donnell, 46, died August 19th after a three-year fight with cancer.

O’Donnell had been with the Anaheim, Calif., venue since 1993 in various capacities, from operations manager to assistant GM to COO.

"Mike built a legacy in our industry that will never be forgotten," Honda Center CEO Tim Ryan said in a statement. "His unrelenting work ethic and unwavering optimism set him apart both as a professional and a friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the O’Donnell family as they mourn this significant loss."

A time and date for memorial services are forthcoming, according to the statement.
