The singer will kick things off September 6 with a performance at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis during the NFL’s season-opening game between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints.

Mellencamp will join fellow co-founders Willie Nelson and Neil Young, along with a host of other artists, for Farm Aid’s New York City debut on Randall’s Island September 9.

The singer’s tour gets rolling in earnest October 26 at Hulman Center in Terre Haute, Ind., and runs through mid-November. Scheduled stops include Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. (October 30), Seagate Convention Center in Toledo, Ohio (November 2), Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis. (November 6), Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa (November 10) and the Scottrade Center in St. Louis (November 15).
