STS9 gets things up and running September 6 at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, followed by a pair of shows September 7-8 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo.

Special guests for the first show are RJD2 and Elliot Lipp, while De La Soul and Glitch Mob join the party the second night.

The band will follow up with three gigs in Austin: September 14 at La Zona Rosa, September 15 at Emo’s Austin and September 16 at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in the city’s Zilker Park.

Other highlights on the itinerary are stops at Clutch Cargos in Detroit (September 20), Higher Ground in Burlington, Vt. (September 25), the Nokia Theatre Times Square in New York City (September 28-29), Mr. Small’s Theatre in Pittsburgh (October 2), the Barrymore Theatre in Madison, Wisc. (October 5), Vegoose Festival in Las Vegas (October 27), and The Warfield Theatre in San Francisco (October 31).

And finally, STS9 will ring in the New Year with a four-night residency at Atlanta’s Tabernacle December 28-31.
