Before heading to the States, Jones will conduct a choir at this year’s World Peace Day Celebration in Cheltenham, U.K., on September 21. Jones will also perform a couple of acoustic songs solo.

Jones’ U.S. dates kick off September 28 with a performance at the Nightfall Concert Series in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Other stops include Birchemere in Alexandria, Va. (October 3), FTC Stage One in Farfield, Conn. (October 4), Boulton Center in Bay Shore, N.Y. (October 6), and Sweet Caroline’s in Winchester, Va.

Accompanying the singer on these dates will be long-time guitarist Robin “The Itch” Boult.

Jones will wrap things up October 10 at Carnegie Hall in New York City with an appearance at a benefit concert paying tribute to the music of Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Other artists expected to appear at the all-star tribute include Joss Stone, Aimee Mann, Shawn Colvin, Phoebe Snow, Lloyd Cole and Ryan Shaw.

Jones recently released a pair of CDs through his own dtox label. Revolution – Remixed & Surrounded features remixes from the singer’s 2005 return to synth-pop, Revolution Of The Heart, along with a DVD of five tracks mixed in Dolby 5.1 stereo.

The other new disc is Piano Solos: For Friends and Loved Ones – Volume 2, the follow-up to Jones’ 2003 release Piano Solos, which includes nine acoustic tracks recorded by the singer alone at the piano.
