According to the band, “Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time. The White Stripes sincerely apologize to their fans. We hate to let people down and are very sorry.”

Fans can obtain refunds for their tickets at point of purchase.

There were 18 dates left on the tour schedule, including multiple nights in some markets and a performance at Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The band’s U.K. itinerary consisted of eight shows, including one at The O2 in London.
