The band will alternate opening dates for Maroon 5 with a handful of headlining shows in clubs and theatres across the U.S. and Canada.

The Hives’ shows with Maroon 5 kick off September 29 at The Palace Of Auburn Hills in Michigan, and run through the middle of November.

Stops on the schedule include the Allstate Arena near Chicago (October 2), New York’s Madison Square Garden (October 10), the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston (October 15), the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Fla. (October 21), Pepsi Center in Denver (October 29), the PNE / Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, B.C. (November 3), and the Staples Center in Los Angeles (November 8). The band will finish out the first part of the tour in style November 10 at The Pearl Concert Theater at The Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

Headlining gigs on the band’s itinerary include stops at Metro / Smart Bar in Chicago (September 30), the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto (October 3), Webster Hall in New York City (October 9), Black Cat in Washington, D.C. (October 17), One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans (October 25) and The Avalon in Los Angeles (November 11).

Following the North American run, The Hives will launch a tour of the U.K. and Europe. Scheduled shows include Docks Konzerte in Hamburg, Germany (November 19), ABC in Glasgow, Scotland (November 22), Carling Academy Manchester in the U.K. (November 24), Le Pataclan in Paris (November 27), Paradiso in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (November 29) and Ancienne Belguque in Brussels, Belgium (December 2).
