The band will kick things off October 23 at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, Calif., and hit clubs and theatres across the U.S. and Canada through the middle of November.

Other stops on the schedule include the Grand Ballroom at Regency Center in San Francisco (October 25), Neumo’s in Seattle (October 27), the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago (November 1), the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre in Atlanta (November 6) and The Fillmore – TLA in Philadelphia (November 8).

Múm will also play a pair of dates in New York City as part of the Wordless Music Series: November 9 at The Church of St. Paul the Apostle and November 10 at the Society for Ethical Culture Concert Hall.

Tickets for the band’s North American dates are available through Ticketmaster.

The European and U.K. portion of the band’s tour launches November 24 at Lantaren-Venster in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Other countries on Múm’s itinerary include Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Spain, France, England, Ireland and Scotland.

Poison Ivy, which is due for release September 24, is the band’s fourth full-length release and the follow-up to 2004’s Summer Make Good. The album’s first single, “they made frogs smoke ’til they exploded,” was released in August.
