Sparks Will Fly
Sparks’ dates with The Donnas kicked off September 19 at The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. The next chance to see both bands is September 27 at Sokol Auditorium / Underground in Omaha, Neb.
Other highlights on the schedule include stops at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis (September 28), Mod Club in Toronto (October 3), Ottobar in Baltimore (October 6), World Café Live in Philadelphia (October 8), The EARL in Atlanta (October 13), The Parish Room in Austin (October 18) and The Roxy in Los Angeles (October 27).
Following their tour with The Donnas, Sparks and The Stellar Moments will head for Brazil to play a run of headlining dates and then return to the States to finish out the year with another round of shows.
Transmiticate, which is due January 22, was produced by Gram Rabbit‘s Ethan Allen and features Sparks backed by L7’s Lady Dee Plakas, Dat T. Ngo and Alan “The Italian” Santalesa. The video for the first single, “Infancy of a Disaster,” can be seen on YouTube
