HoB’s Jablonski Named COO
Live Nation’s Jim Jablonski has been named chief operating officer of House of Blues effective immediately as LN moves to fill executive positions within its rapidly expanding club operations, Pollstar has learned.
Jablonski will relocate to Beverly Hills from Dallas, where he most recently served as senior VP of the West Region and GM of the House of Blues venue there.
The move to advance HoB executives is necessitated by a sharp increase in LN’s club business.
According to an internal memo, HoB business now represents more than 25 percent of Live Nation’s total EBITDA, "a major transformation from a year ago where the LN clubs represented less than 1 percent" overall, according to the memo from Jason Garner, LN’s CEO of North American Music.
Live Nation continues to recruit for the position of president of House of Blues, and hopes to fill the slot from within as well.
"Jim brings with him a love of the HOB brand, respect for the culture and great operational skills," Garner said in announcing Jablonski’s promotion.
