Visa Woes Are A Pip
U.K. girl group The Pipettes have been forced to delay the start if a U.S. tour because of a visa holdup, the band said in a statement.
“Unfortunately, we have to push back our North American dates due to our visa paperwork being delayed. We’re doing everything we can to fix this, but we’re going to have to delay the start of the tour until October 25.
“We’re really sorry to be forced to postpone the dates this close and can’t wait to get out on tour to make it up to you.”
The Pips tour will now kick off October 25 at Echoplex in Los Angeles, and band’s schedule through its November 3 show at The Plaza Club in Vancouver is unchanged.
An announcement about new dates, as well as info on what to do with tickets that have already been purchased, is expected sometime today.
