Ohio Promoter Dies

Longtime Ohio promoter and club owner Mitch Karczewski died September 26th after suffering a heart attack. He was 58.

Karczewski owned Spotlight Talent Productions in Cleveland and the Red Parrot Café in Lorain.

He organized the World Series of Metal festivals and was an active player in the local metal scene, working with Mushroomhead during the band’s early years, according to the Cleveland Scene.
