Getting The Drop On Ozzfest

An average of about 15,850 metal heads went to each of this year’s free Ozzfest concerts, according to drop counts provided to Pollstar.

The second date of Ozzfest was the smallest – July 12th at White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Wash. – with 10,593 ticket stubs, according to promoter Live Nation.

The largest was at the Hyundai Pavilion at Glen Helen in Devore, Calif., July 21st, with more than 27,540 people showing up.

Other large counts include Tweeter Center at the Waterfront (17,443), Cricket Pavilion (17,053), Alpine Valley Music Theatre (18,715), Verizon Wireless in Indianapolis (18,467), New England Dodge Music Center (20,765), and DTE Energy Music Theatre (18,200).
