Morrissey was expected to have a 10-night residency at the 4,000-capacity venue in Los Angeles, but a “ruptured water pipe” resulted in a “safety issue.”

Live Nation spokesman John Vlautin told Pollstar there is no serious damage to the venue and it would be up and running October 5th.

Morrissey was expected to headline the venue October 1-13 before it closes for renovation, and tickets from the canceled October 3-4 shows were to be honored at the October 8-9 performances.

Meanwhile, some tickets were discounted to $25, according to the Los Angeles Times, and the opening show was estimated at half capacity, Pollstar learned.
