Opry Adds Turner
Josh Turner’s 2001 debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry made such a splash that the Opry wants to add him to its lineup.
Turner will become the newest Opry member October 27th with Vince Gill handling the formalities.
The performer got the news September 29th when he presented Roy Clark with a plaque commemorating his 20 years as an Opry member.
Clark turned the tables on Turner, who’s up for CMA’s male vocalist of the year award, and extended the Opry invitation to him.
