The tour kicks off November 1 the Soho Restaurant & Music Club in Santa Barbara, Calif., and runs through the middle of December.

Highlights include stops at Richard’s on Richards in Vancouver (November 6), Double Door in Chicago (November 13), The Music Mill in Indianapolis (November 16), The Mod Club Theatre in Toronto (November 24), WorkPlay Theatre in Birmingham, Ala. (December 1), Meridian in Houston (December 6), Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Okla. (December 9), and House of Blues in San Diego (December 13).

Presale tickets are available October 8 to friends of Lee’s MySpace page. General ticket sales begin October 10.

Ripe is the follow-up to 2005’s Awake Is The New Sleep. The album was produced by John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer) and features guest appearances by Mandy Moore, Good Charlotte‘s Benji Madden, Benmont Tench of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Rachael Yamagata, the members of Rooney, Nickel Creek‘s Sara Watkins and Charlotte Martin.

In addition to first single, “Love Me Like The World Is Ending,” the 12-song set includes “Blush,” an ode to a personal hero of Lee’s in “What Would Jay-Z Do?,” and “Birds & Bees,” a duet with Moore.
