4th & B Shows Relocated
Six shows scheduled for the first half of October were moved from San Diego’s 1,500-capacity 4th & B Concert Theatre to other venues without much explanation.
The club referred questions to venue booker Live Nation, which said in a statement that the shows were relocated "due to circumstances beyond our control."
A "Last Comic Standing" performance scheduled for October 4th was moved to Pala Casino Resort & Spa. An October 7th show with Justice and Midnight Juggernauts was moved to Canes Bar & Grill. An October 8th show with Keyshia Cole and J. Holiday was moved to the House of Blues as was the October 9th show with The Black Crowes and Buffalo Killers.
A new venue is still TBA for the October 12th show with Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Collective Soul and Emerson Hart as well as the October 13th show with The Tragically Hip and Joel Plaskett Emergency.
Live Nation spokeswoman Janette Baxa could neither confirm nor deny at press time if there would be any more 4th & B shows canceled or moved.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the San Diego Police Department’s Vice Unit confirmed the venue’s entertainment permit had expired but that 4th & B was currently working on renewing it.
