The tour launches November 7 at the Southern Theatre in Columbus, Ohio and will stick mainly to the Midwest and East Coast.

Highlights include stops at the West Pikeland Performance Center in Chester Springs, Pa. (November 10), Jefferson Center in Roanoke, Va. (November 11), Whitaker Center in Harrisburg, Pa. (November 14) and the Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut (November 18).

Besides World, Peyroux can be found singing on the charity album, Give Us Your Poor. The disc is a collaboration between an eclectic collection of artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Natalie Merchant, Jon Bon Jovi, Bonnie Raitt, Jewel and others, and homeless musicians.

Proceeds from the album will benefit the national awareness/action campaign, Give US Your Poor, an initiative of the University of Massachusetts Boston. The CD will be made available to local and national homeless organizations to sell to raise money and awareness.
