Virginia Beach Pays Up

Alcohol sales at the Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheatre will be reinstated after concessionaire Aramark Entertainment pays $5,500 in civil fines to save the shed’s liquor license.

State Alcohol Beverage Control spokeswoman Beth Straeten reportedly said October 15th that the board accepted Aramark’s compromise offer.

Aramark was facing a $3,500 fine and a 37-day suspension on selling beer, wine and other spirits prior to the agreement.
