Amsterdam Dances To A Record
With more than 700 DJs and acts performing at 34 of the city’s finest club venues, the 12th edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event has broken its previous records.
The October 18-20 event attracted a festival audience of 72,000, while 1,800 industry professionals attended the sold-out conference at the city’s Felix Meritis building.
"Looking back at this edition of ADE I can proudly say that we witnessed the best one so far," said ADE general manager Richard Zijlma. "It really surprised me that this edition was so successful.
"You can plan for it, you can work hard for it, but – when it becomes one of the most important conferences in the field – we can only be grateful for all the support we get."
Organiser Buma Cultuur has continued to develop the event each year and it’s now Europe’s main electronic music conference and the world’s biggest club festival.
