Butt-Tase Ends Girl Talk Show

A Washington University police officer tasered a 22-year-old student at the Mallinckrodt Student Center November 11th, during a Girl Talk concert where the student was being unruly.

Girl Talk – a man named Gregg Gillis accompanied by a laptop computer – was playing to a packed house at The Gargoyle on the campus of the St. Louis university when the student began pushing people in the crowd and assisting people onto the stage after being asked not to do so, according to a statement the university provided to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Asked to leave, the shirtless student refused and pulled down his pants and underwear.

According to various reports, the student, after resisting handcuffing, was tasered in the bare derriere twice and arrested. Gillis said he was unaware of the incident, but the show was closed down early.

The Gargoyle did not return a call at press time.
