The March 6-9 festival will take place at a new venue this year, the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation and has evolved from a day festival to a camping event.

Other artists in the initial lineup include Phil Lesh & Friends, 311, Matisyahu, Ben Folds, Thievery Corporation, Les Claypool, Gov’t Mule, G. Love & Special Sauce, Built to Spill, Disco Biscuits, Umphrey’s McGee, The National, !!!, Minus the Bear, State Radio, Citizen Cope, Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood, The Wailers, Of Montreal, Robert Randolph & the Family Band and many others.

Tickets, which include camping and late night shows on site, go on sale November 16 at the festival’s web site, Langerado.com. Four day passes and VIP packages, as well as hotel and shuttle packages from Fort Lauderdale are also available.

In addition to the musical fare and on-site camping, the festival will feature food and crafts vendors and an expanded children’s area.

Festival organizers are attempting to make Langerado as green as possible this year by using bio-diesel fuels to power stages and light towers, requiring vendors to use biodegradable materials and 100% recycled paper products, establishing festival-wide recycling, participating in carbon-offsetting programs and creating the Greenerado EcoVillage, which will feature performances and eco-education.
