Starwood Shed Demolished
The 17,500-capacity Starwood Amphitheatre in Nashville has begun its ascent to shed heaven.
Vastland Realty Group, which purchased the 65-acre property earlier this year, has begun demolition to make way for a $100 million project featuring 250 town homes and commercial buildings at the site, according to the Tennessean.
Live Nation shuttered the 22-year-old concert venue in February and Vastland purchased it for $4.2 million shortly after. The project is expected to take about three years to complete, the paper said.
