The 10,000-capacity venue, located on the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson, hosted TSO November 11th but the concert was halted mid-show after a portion of the city’s power grid shut down – presumably from the energy of the high-decibel Christmas show – venue director Mike Brinkley told Pollstar.

Violinist Anna Phoebe e-mailed Bravewords.com, that the show went dark during “Good King Joy,” then the band left the stage for 15 minutes until generators brought the show back to full-power. She added the silence of the audience the whole time was “spooky” – at least until the golf claps started as they reemerged on stage.
