My Bloody Valentine Returns

Seminal indie band My Bloody Valentine, which has been inactive since the early ’90s, has announced a handful of U.K. dates for 2008.

So far, shows on the band’s scheduled include June 20-22 at Roundhouse in London, June 28-29 at the Carling Apollo Manchester and July 2-3 at Barrowland in Glasgow.

While no official announcement of U.S. dates has been made, rumors have been circulating on the internet that My Bloody Valentine is in negotiations to play at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

The band is also rumored to be recording a new album, its first since 1991’s Loveless.
