MIDEM Rings The Bell For Talent

Domino Records chief Laurence Bell and veteran producer Tony Visconti will top the bill at a new MIDEM event dedicated to the discovery and development of new acts.

It’s called Talent Only and the January 29 launch will include a series of discussions and feature showcases for emerging artists.

Bell, who first signed such hit bands as Franz Ferdinand and the Arctic Monkeys, and Tony Visconti, famed producer of acts including David Bowie and T-Rex, will appear at the keynote session.

Next year’s MIDEM takes place in Cannes January 27-31.
