A short but sweet day in tour date land, where some of our comrades had to leave the Pollstar.com HQ in order to finish their required community service time so they can spend Thanksgiving with their families and friends. Even so, we posted a lot of dates you should be aware of.

For starters, we kicked off our morning data operations with new dates for The Moody Blues, The Nadas, McCoy Tyner and Cheryl Wheeler.

Then by midday we were slamming new listings into our databanks for Charlie Parr, Buju Banton, Cirque du Soleil – “Delirium,” Dark Star Orchestra, Gore Gore Girls and Jay Brannan.

Then we really got rolling this afternoon with new shows for As I Lay Dying, Lucky Boys Confusion, Kris Delmhorst, The Samples, The Roches, Tracy Grammer plus more bands and artists than even Stephen Hawking can comprehend.

And that’s going to do it for this short week leading into the Thanksgiving Weekend. While we may sneak in and post a few new dates just to keep the Pollstar.com tour-date machinery from freezing up, chances are we may not meet again until Monday. Here’s to a Happy Turkey Day, and may you always get the bigger part of the wishbone. Later!
