Ballard Named To LN Board
Bill Ballard, longtime business partner of Michael Cohl, has been named to the Live Nation board of directors.
Ballard began his career in Toronto at the Maple Leaf Gardens Corp., serving as its VP of corporate development and director and alternate governor of the National Hockey League. He has been active in the Canadian mining industry since 1995.
Ballard may be best known, however, for working with Cohl since the Canadian promoter’s first gigs in 1973 when Cohl and Ballard – son of Maple Leaf Gardens arena owner Harold Ballard – formed Concert Promotions International.
