Dates, Dates & More Dates …

The 2008 schedule for “Video Games Live” is starting to take shape with new dates for Edmonton, Austin and Seattle; Billy Currington adds NC, IL, GA, OH and FL to the ’08 itinerary and Chris Cagle pencils in 2008 appearances for San Antonio, Fort Worth, Denver and Uncasville.

Collective Soul play Canada in February; Diamond Rio add Texas Christmas show dates; The Cribs tour the U.K. in February and Glen Campbell travels to Australia in February.

Let’s recap.

The day started off kind of slow, but with good reason. Staffers were late, data flow was slow and not all of us were completely dressed until maybe 10 or 11 a.m. But hey, that’s the biz.

And it was a good day for the tour date business. We started with new dates for Supersuckers, George Lopez and Rick Springfield and by midday we had posted shows for Vince Neil, George Carlin, Heart, Brian Copeland, Jeff Healey & The Jazz Wizards, The Used, Raul Malo, Engelbert Humperdinck, silverchair and Patti Page.

But it was the afternoon when things really started to pop. That’s when we posted new shows for Linkin Park, Editors, The Police, The Mars Volta, Hayden, Junkie XL, Gallows, Xavier Rudd, and Three Days Grace.

And that wraps things up for November 27, 2007 (or 2008 depending on which space / time continuum you live in). Have a safe Tuesday evening and we hope you can join us tomorrow. Be seeing you!
