Premier Exhibitions And Live Nation Hook Up

Public exhibit organizer Premier Exhibitions Inc. and venue management company Live Nation Inc. have agreed to co-present human anatomy exhibitions on a worldwide basis, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Tuesday.

The deal was reached on Nov. 28. Financial terms were not disclosed.  Premier’s new CEO, Bruce Eskowitz, was CEO of North American music at Live Nation.  Click here for the story.

Under the terms of the agreement, Premier Exhibitions and Live Nation plan to co-present between six and nine concurrent exhibitions at all times.

For each jointly presented exhibition, Premier Exhibitions will be responsible for exhibition design, installation and licensing. Live Nation will be responsible for marketing, public relations, and exhibition operations and security.

Under the terms of the deal, Live Nation’s right to jointly present exhibitions is exclusive on a worldwide basis, except for North America, China and certain other locations. JAM Exhibitions LLC will act as Live Nation’s exclusive co-promoter for the jointly presented exhibitions.

Premier Exhibitions is currently touring "Bodies Revealed" and "Bodies…The Exhibition," a display of dissected human bodies. According to the company’s Web site, the exhibitions have attracted more than 3.5 million visitors.

In morning trading, Premier Exhibitions shares gained 10 cents to $11.39. Live Nation shares fell 17 cents to $12.95. Earlier, Live Nation shares traded as low as $12.68, below a 52-week bottom of $12.69 set Monday.
