By:Larm Takes Kissaway Trail
Denmark’s The Kissaway Trail will play Norway’s By:Larm Festival on the back of support slots to the U.K.’s Editors and an extensive tour of its own country.
The Odense-based five piece has received rave reviews from U.K. papers including the Guardian, which described the band as "this year’s jawdroppers."
The live work in Europe is being booked by James Alderman at London’s Free Trade, with the local Danish dates handled by Jesper Frydenlund of 3rd Tsunami.
Before the Danish tour, which runs from January 31 to February 16 and takes in major cities such as Aahus, Odense, Kolding, Copenhagen and Aalborg, The Kissaway Trail also plays Holland’s Eurosonic-Noorderslag on January 10.
The annual By:Larm conference/festival February 21-23, its first time in Oslo, is a well-known breaking ground for Scandinavian talent.
Norway’s Lukestar, The Work, Dylan Mondegreen and Sigh & Explode, Sweden’s Lykke Li, Kleerup and Kocky and Finland’s Lapko are among the other acts that have already started raising their profiles.
Denmark’s The Floor Is Made Of Lava is another name to stand out among the 200 or so acts that will play the three-day event.
