LN Beefs Up In China

Live Nation is expanding its presence in the Far East with the announcement December 10th that it has entered into an agreement with China’s Cosmedia Group to manage Hong Kong’s new multi-purpose, 10,000-capacity outdoor venue, Pop TV Arena.

Additionally, Live Nation is beefing up its Hong Kong office with the appointment of Luke Hede, formerly of Australia’s Dainty Consolidated Entertainment, as director of Asian booking.

Pop TV Arena will open in January with a series of concerts by Chinese superstar Jackie Cheung. In addition to Hong Kong, Live Nation has offices throughout Asia in Singapore, Beijing and Shanghai.
