Godstock Promoters Assets Frozen
Promoters of Christian event Godstock in Joplin, Mo., had their assets frozen by Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon’s office, which filed civil charges against the promoters December 3rd.
Derrick Gates and Zachary Grimm also had a temporary restraining order placed against them preventing them from advertising or taking money or merchandise for any event without first posting a $200,000 bond with the court, according to the Joplin Globe.
Vendors say they are owed thousands in deposits and merchandise from Godstock, which was scheduled for September 14-16, and Ink Deep Tattoo Convention, which was to take place in Kansas City, Mo., in December.
A hearing for a preliminary injunction in the charges against the promoters is scheduled for December 20th.
