Ah, the day after Christmas. That the Pollstar.com hallways and corridors are silent today isn’t so much a reflection of management’s generous holiday vacation policy as it is a sign that most of our 4,821 tour-date researchers chose the seven days between Christmas and New Year’s as the most convenient time period to work off all the community service demands that have built up over the year due to the intense and dangerous profession known as concert science.

But those who have been more nice than naughty during ’07 are here to serve you with fresh tour dates. So, let’s get busy!

First up is the Australian tour for The Waifs with January and February dates downunder. Cities include two-fers in Freemantle, and Perth, plus one-offs in places like Phillip Island, Hunter Valley and Hobart.

Next we have ex-Supertramper Roger Hodgson, he of the choir-like voice and the wit behind little ditties like “Logical Song,” “Dreamer” and “Give A Little Bit.” New Euro dates for Roger include stops in Norway, Germany and Spain.

Then we have Apocalyptica, which has nothing to do with Mel Gibson. The new dates are truly international with March shows in Mexico, Paris, London and Hamburg.

Finally, Horrorpops. We’ve been posting new dates for this band almost every day during the past couple of weeks. This morning’s additions include dates for Nashville, Albuquerque and Tempe.

During the past 90 minutes of biz we also updated the schedules for Ani DiFranco, Bedouin Soundclash, Hellyeah, Eek-A-Mouse, Los Amigos Invisibles, Lyfe Jennings, Knucklehead, Kevin Devine, Kelley Stoltz, North Mississippi Allstars, New York Dolls, State Radio, Slightly Stoopid, The Commander Cody Band and War.

But we have lots and lots of data yet to post! Don’t miss your Midday Update, scheduled for around 12 noon (PST) from Pollstar.com!
