Seattle Promoter Attacked

A Seattle rave promoter was recently attacked outside the Studio 7 nightclub and beaten unconscious, but an online effort has been established to catch the attackers.

Travis Webb, who has been promoting raves for a decade, said he was kicked in the head and ribs by a group of young men claiming to be Marines, just back from Iraq, according to KING 5 News.

"There was nothing leading up to the incident," Webb told the TV station. "They simply came out of nowhere, punched me out and kicked the holy mass out of me." Webb said fellow ravers armed with cameras came to his assistance and pictures of four men driving a white pickup truck with Texas license plates were soon circulating on rave Web sites.

Stories have surfaced since the December 22nd incident that military men have been attacking rave attendees around Seattle, KING 5 said.
