It’s new European dates for Bettye LaVette today. Latest additions to Ms. LaVette’s 2008 schedule include shows in Milan, Rome, London and Casablanca.

Coco Montoya is quickly filling in her winter calendar with new dates for January, February, March and August in places like Orlando, New York and Virginia Beach; Carrie Rodriguez adds Ames, Iowa, in the winter and Winnipeg, Manitoba, for the summer; Brian Howe slots a new Wisconsin date for January, shows in Texas and Colorado for February, Virginia in May and Michigan for June and Chris Cain adds California towns San Francisco and Fremont for February and Sacramento and Arcadia for March.

Look for Mavis Staples to appear in Bremen, Germany, in April and Fall River, MA, in May; John Nemeth will be all over both east and west coasts in the U.S. during ’08; The Duke Robillard Band adds Ottawa and Toronto for January, Piermont, NY, for February; Harper continues to fatten its calendar with new listings for Iowa, North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Massachusetts, Florida and Alabama and Allen Toussaint rolls into Chicago in February.
