David Letterman has a new contract with the WGA for his show and Craig Ferguson’s “Late Late Show,” which means both scripted shows and guests who have the blessing of the Screen Actors’ Guild to appear.

Without writers, Jay, Conan and Jimmy will be flying without a net in addition to having difficulty getting guests to cross the picket lines that will be outside their shows.

The late night landscape hasn’t been this interesting since Letterman left NBC for CBS. Let the games begin!
